TM AUTOVINO is a former teen mom and community college dropout who eventually graduated from Hunter College with a degree in philosophy and completed her MFA as a Dean's Fellow in NYU’s Grad Film Program. Her narrative work has screened in festivals around the world, including Sundance and SXSW, and her doc feature, Ultimate Christian Wrestling, is deeply weird and award-winning. She is a Tribeca All-Access, Berlinale Talent Campus, and New York Foundation for the Arts Film Fellow.

A producer, editor, musician, and sometimes modern dancer, Tara has performed in collaboration with Stanley Love Performance Group and Charles Atlas at the Whitney Biennial, played music with Daniel Johnston, toured the world in famous people’s other bands, and edited for Dave Chappelle. Her voice can be heard on Suits, Lizzie Borden Chronicles, Being Human, and the Oxygen Network, and she’s scored projects for the Africa Channel and the Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential campaign. She is currently working on a documentary about NYC modern dance icon, Stanley Love, and chipping away at a PhD in political philosophy and applied ethics at the University at Albany.
